Personal Therapy
Therapy is about restoring
balance to life. Our
approach is based on the belief that mind and body are
integrated and that we all have a natural drive towards
health and well-being.
Do any of these sound like you at the moment?
"I
have been finding it difficult to cope with life
for no apparent
reason"
" I have been having angry outbursts and feel unable
to control my behaviour."
" I just feel really low and dispirited, and I don't even
have the energy or desire to do things you used
to enjoy."
" I wake up every morning feeling anxious and it takes me
a long time to settle down inside, if at all, each day."
" I have had so many illnesses and can't remember the last
time I felt really well."
" I have frequent " allergies or skin problems or IBS
or diabetes or
ME.
"I feel on the verge of tears a lot of the time and I
cry unexpectedly, even though I have everything I need
and my life ought to be wonderful."
" I was recently " bereaved, lost a relationship, made redundant."Life
just isn't the way I want it to be and I can't find
a way to change it"
"I keep thinking the same thoughts or repeating actions
over and over again and it's getting in the way of
my life and my relationships."
If so, you could benefit from a short course of
therapy, combining counselling, hypnotherapy,
psychotherapy and EFT.
To arrange a session by phone or in person, see Book
a Session
"It
felt so good to be able to talk to someone who
you felt really cared and understood and
who provided practical help and support."
Ms Allerton

"I
have transformed my life using the skills I learned.
I and my family are much much happier"

Why hypnotherapy? Because
the use of hypnosis in a therapeutic way can allow access
to more of your mind’s power for healing or self
development. Using powerful imagination to visualise and
to feel a different way of being or behaving alters your
responses next time the situation is encountered. This
can be used to great effect to undo ‘errors’ in
programming where a fear or anxiety state has been linked
to normally safe objects or situations (phobias and panic
attacks).
What is EFT? Emotional Freedom Techniques
is based on the discovery that all negative emotions are
the result of a disturbance in the body's energy system.

Our approach to therapy is not to provide
answers, solve your problems or tell you what to do. Instead,
we seek to enable you to discover or restore your own resources
and seek ways to activate your own innate health and balance.
We can provide powerful ‘tools’ which you can
use between sessions and which are specifically
for you as a unique individual.
